András advises domestic and international clients across industry sectors in technology (including IT, telecoms, data privacy, data security, investigations), sports, corporate and arbitration matters. Having worked for over 10 years as a software engineer and managing sales and marketing with an international IT provider, he understands the business of TMT from the inside. He advises on contentious and non-contentious matters and represents clients before courts of all instance, regulatory and investigating authorities, and arbitration courts.
His sport practice covers all aspects of sports related issues, including commercialisation of sports rights, organisation of sports events, and management of sports organisations.
András has significant expertise in commercial and sports arbitration. He is an Arbitrator at the Court of Arbitration for Sport TAS/CAS and is regularly appointed as sole arbitrator or as member or chairman of a panel in CAS cases. András is a member of the Legal Committee of the International Ice Hockey Federation IIHF where he advises on procedural issues and disciplinary matters relating to the IIHF, its member national associations and the athletes. He is a member of the board of Grasshopper Football Ltd which operates professional football at Grasshopper Club Zurich.
