Marie-Cristine advises and represents commercial and private clients at all stages of a dispute, be it extrajudicial settlement negotiations, arbitration proceedings, Swiss court proceedings or foreign litigation involving Swiss applicable law, up to the enforcement of claims in Switzerland. She supports clients in dispute resolution matters across various sectors and industries, and also represents her clients in disputes with their insurers.


Marie-Cristine specialises in cross-border litigation and international arbitration. She has particular expertise in large and complex banking and post-M&A disputes, in employment litigation and director’s liability. Marie-Cristine provides corporate and commercial law advice at the stage of contract negotiations, contributing pragmatic insights gained from her litigation experience. She cooperates with her broad global network of lawyers on a regular basis to address comprehensively the needs of internationally active clients.

Experience includes:

  • Counsel to a Swiss bank in a cross border civil litigation against clients in the context of an alleged misappropriation of assets in the amount of over EUR 300 million

  • Advising a Swiss non-profit organisation on the establishment of representations worldwide

  • Advising and representing a global organisation in an employment dispute in the amount of over CHF 10 million

  • Representing a non-Swiss bank in proceedings at the Swiss Federal Administrative Court relating to the bank’s liquidation
